NAME

Esar - Extended system activity reporter (A better sar for solaris)  

SYNOPSIS

Esar [-?habcdgmpqruwyACLIBZVPM] [-f filename] [-N options] [-R options] [interval] [count]  

DESCRIPTION

Launching Esar without specifying interval or interval and count will try open the daily sar file to output statistics. The daily filename is /var/adm/sa/EsarXX where XX correspond to the day number of the month.If interval is specified this will be the number of second to wait before collecting and display new data. This will fork an Esadc process to collect data.  

OPTIONS

Different statistics will be display upon options specified on Esar command.


-A

Display all statistics


-f <filename>

Uses filename as the data source for Esar. Default is the current daily data file /var/adm/sa/Esadd.
